STUDY ON MODERN TELUGU FICTION WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO RAYALASEEMA REGION IN
ANDHRAPRADESH
People always take pride in their
language and dialect. Language is the mail instrument in human interaction,
enabling communication and cooperation among the native speakers. It helps them
to assert their identity, maintain and internalize their respective norms and
patterns of behavior. Thus it functions as an instrument for group identity. It
is well known fact that the Rayalaseema
region in Andhrapradesh maintains its linguistic identity with its own
linguistic traits. In this process it retains a large quantity of archaic
features of Telugu language and culture. Linguistically and culturally the
writings in this region have a rich lore. Geographically and Administratively
Rayalaseema is divided into four districts.
